I believe that with the correct education and support system that people with diabetes can achieve good blood glucose control and a good quality of life.

Unfortunately access to adequate education an support can be challenging. At the Diabetes Advantage the aim is provide you with outstanding and intense education so that you feel well equipped and empowered to deal with your diabetes. We do this through group sessions and opportunities for personalised feedback.

Our course offers weekly Q & A sessions to get your personal questions answered, intense nutrition education, group Q & A sessions with our psychotherapist , diabetes resources, educational video snippets, resources for weight loss, accountability checks and so much more

I believe that with the correct understanding and processing of your diabetes, it can be easier to live with and manage.
​
People often underplay the impact that diabetes has on every day living and on their mental health. This course is a great opportunity to discuss and deal with the various aspects of your diabetes. You will be in a space with people who are on similar journeys and will be able to openly discuss your experiences with people who truly understand what you are going through .

Our course offers sessions where I will facilitate discussions around various aspects of your diabetes and how to emotionally cope with these issues.
